The Carter Day Modular Precision Sizers have the performance efficiencies and capacities for virtually anysizing/separating requirement for seed corn, sunflower, barley, wheat, oats, rice, shelled peanuts, soybean, and most other free flowing granular material. The Modular Precision Sizer drive system eliminates the use of chains & sprockets and uses a single v-belt drive between each module. Molded Elastomer Indexed Cleaning Wheels provide an offset sequential contact area on the cylinder for quieter and smoother operation.

 

 

No. 3 SI Uniflow

The Carter Day No. 3SI has the efficiency and capacity for virtually any length separation application involving cereal grains and other free flowing granular materials. The No. 3SI may be used independently or arranged in stacks of 2 or 3 high in various flow arrangements to meet higher capacity requirements or provide multiple separations.

 

No. 3 Retro Machine

The Carter Day Retro No. 3SI has the efficiency and capacity for most length separation application involving cereal grains and other free flowing granular materials.

The Segmented Cylinder consist of three equal segments. These segments are joined together by three solid bars which are attached to the ends of the cylinder assembly. Our precision sizer shells are used all over the world and sought after by many other machine manufacturers.

 

DAMAS Hotyp

The DAMAS Hotyp is designed for precise separation of cereals and seed by length. Through this process, short and long grains are removed.

Separation by length is normally effected after screen and air cleaning.

The short grain indented cylinder is provided with stirrer for efficient separation, and the long grain indented cylinder is provided with optimizer for optimum exploitation of the cover area.

If both short and long grain separation is required, e.g. 2 indented cylinders can be located over each other so that the material is first short grain separated in the upper indented cylinder and then long grain separated in the lower indented cylinder.

The flexible modular design also permits custom-built arrangements with distribution indented cylinders for e.g. grass seed or with several parallel indented cylinders for malting barley or the like.
