Territory Manager
Electronic Service Technician
Can-Seed Equipment Ltd. is looking for a professional, highly motivated, and hard-working individual with electrical and mechanical experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
– Problem solving and trouble shooting
– Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
– Emergency support diagnose and resolution of problems
– Routine and pre-seasonal maintenance as per maintenance schedules and contracts
– Start-up and commissioning of CSEL equipment
– Provide appropriate reports for all on-site service calls and telephone support
– Liaison with the customers, to set-up appointments with the customers for machine servicing and troubleshooting
– Training of operators.
– Testing electrical and mechanical components that CSEL sells
– Work individually as well as with other staff members on service and sales as required
– Provide excellent communication and reports to customers, management, and other engineers
– Be recognized as a company-wide technical resource
– Provide Sales Support as required for demonstrations, presentations, and tradeshows
– Significant travel is required and will involve overnight stays at a hotel near the plant site. This is generally weekday travel, with the employee being back home by Friday evening. CSEL provides payment for all hotel rooms, meals, and vehicle costs.
– Possible travel to the USA for training and to help with customer demonstrations
– Continuous learning
– Perform additional servicing of any other equipment sold by CSEL as required
– Having an electrical or millwright ticket would be considered an asset or being an Instrumentation Technician

Internal Draftsman
Can-Seed Equipment Ltd. is currently recruiting for an Internal Draftsman to join their growing team. Ideally, this person is very professional and highly motivated with experience working within the agriculture industry. This individual must possess exceptional time management skills, strong attention to detail, and someone who can exceed in a fast-past work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Produce highly accurate and detailed drawings for a variety of project areas.
– Prepare 2D and 3D drawings and models.
– Experience using AutoCAD.
– Candidates must create drawings and be flexible when revisions are necessary and be able to meet every-changing deadlines.
– Strong math skills, problem-solving skills and artistic ability are key.
– Exceptional attention to detail.
– Strong time management skills.
– Good attitude, willingness to learn and perform work in a professional manner.
– Good verbal and written communication skills.
– Organized and self-motivated.
– Able to work independently and as a team.
– Able to handle seasonal increase in workload and work under specific deadlines.
– Experience in the agriculture industry would be considered a huge asset.
– Diploma or certificate in drafting or mechanical engineering.
